Veteran of countless wars since the design's inception in the 1930's, used by both sides in WWII, and the design that laid the groundwork for almost every semi-automatic pistol to come for the past eight decades. Somehow the design endured for that long, and until recently was still being made, despite being able to count the changes throughout that time on the hand of a man who played a bit too much five finger fillet.
Lorified Browning Hi-Power, model taken from Insurgency: Sandstorm and modified to work in-game. The weapon is a replacer for the Pistol only.
Features:
Tints that can be somewhat customized.
Working weapon animations.
Working first person view and functional sights.
Custom magazines.
Known Issues:
Flashlight floats, don't use it.
Suppressor doesn't attach to the barrel, don't use it.
Installation:
Extract the files from the archive and put them in basically any .rpf archive that's from a recent update. Or you can do what I do, which is put modded weapons in an addon dlc, in which case I'd recommend using albo's one. Oh yeah, also, use your mods folder. Come on people, this isn't difficult.
Permissions:
Free for all to use in FiveM, singleplayer, etc.
Free to modify and redistribute privately, provided no money is being made.
Do not convert this model to work with other games.

@AllenKennedy Just wondering about your stance on your mods as dlc weapon replacers, any chance of that?
@Jneum16 I don't wanna do it, but if others wanna convert it to an addon or do it for fivem, I've got no problem with either of those things, just so long as they aren't reuploading the mod anywhere.

I can't be the only on ewho thinks that this would've been much better as a replacer for the heavy pistol, can I?
@DirtSpray Heavy pistol has really high sights unfortunately, wouldn't have been suitable for this model without vast changes that would've compromised the final look of the thing, or meant a more difficult and invasive installation process. Also, the mag size of the pistol matches the hi-power more I figured.
@AllenKennedy Oh, ok, understandable.
It is an excellent mod, the only bad thing is that it is not fully compatible with attachments, that is the only thing after all, it is well excellent
Real version is part of dutch history, this pistol lays close to my heart. Thank you very much for making this.
@Destrick Yeah, I wish I could've made it at least fit the suppressor properly, but given that it's a pretty old gun, it seemed to me like the kind of gun that people wouldn't be slapping attachments on, so I was content to not modify the design to accommodate that stuff. Not that I think it would've been possible to do so without ruining the look of the gun anyway tbh.
I think the mod works better when you use it to replace the vintage pistol (rename the files to vintagepistol)
@SoakedCloth I disagree, but if it works for you then it works for you.
I can confirm this works, too. But the other weapons are limited to their official replacement.
suppressor is invisible because it's supposed to be WAPSupp_2 not WAPSupp
rockstar does this other weapons. no idea
@SoakedCloth it only works okay if you reposition it and elongate the front of the slide unless you wanna work with .meta's
@Mozzie I use it to replace Mk2 and it fixes it
