Take your GTA V realism to the next level. The Exclusion Zone adds high-risk radioactive hotspots to the map. This mod focuses on a slow-burn survival mechanic where the environment itself becomes your deadliest enemy.
Key Features:
Accumulative Radiation: Radiation builds up in your system. The closer you are to the source, the faster it rises.
Organ Failure Mechanic: No instant health drain. Once your radiation bar hits 100%, your character suffers organ failure, collapses into a ragdoll, and dies.
Top-Center HUD: A clean, modern UI at the top of the screen showing your current exposure level.
Gas Mask Protection: Put on a Gas Mask (ID 46) to completely stop the radiation from rising.
Immersive Effects: Visual screen static and warnings (e.g., "Critical: Organ failure imminent!") keep you informed of the danger.
Current Active Zones:
Humane Labs (Epicenter - Critical Threat)
Fort Zancudo Delta (High Threat)
Sandy Shores Airfield (Medium Threat)
LS Airport & Port Perimeters (Industrial Zones
CHANGELOG: v1.5
Fixed: Removed Blackout at 90% to ensure GSW2 compatibility.
Fixed: Persistent Geiger sound loop after player death.
Improved: Rebuilt reset logic (isDeadFlag) for stability.
Added: Full .INI configuration support for all settings.
Added: Permanent Gas Mask supply point with auto-respawn.
Optimized: Proximity checks to maintain stable 60 FPS.
INSTALLATION:
1. Requirements:
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet 3
2. Drag and drop "TheExclusionZone.dll" into your "scripts" folder.
3. If the "scripts" folder does not exist, create it in your

This would be perfect for the Pripyat add-on map.
A config that allows us to edit radiation zone areas would be nice. Or an in game menu to do something similar, but in game. I would for sure use this in my planned zombies series!
@DarKKlusteR "Thanks for the great feedback! I love the idea of a zombie series with this mod. I'm actually working on Version 1.5 right now to make sure everything is stable. For the next update, I'm planning to add a Config file (.ini) exactly as you suggested, so you can easily customize the zones for your series without touching the code. Stay tuned!"
@Starfox1993 "That’s exactly the vibe I’m aiming for! Pripyat + this mod is the ultimate combination. I’m currently finalizing v1.5 with better stability and a new gear supply system. In the next step, I’ll add a config file so you can place the radiation zones precisely over the Pripyat map markers. Thanks for the suggestion!"
@VelyXCore My pleasure.
