The world didn't just end with zombies. It ended with us.
The Remnants is a massive open-world AI overhaul designed to transform San Andreas into a living, breathing tactical battlefield. While the undead roam the streets, the living have organized into lethal factions. With the v2.0 Tactical Update, every NPC now operates with advanced combat logic inspired by military simulators like Arma 3. They flank, use cover, and communicate, making every encounter a high-stakes fight for survival.
KEY FEATURES
Tactical Warfare AI (New in v2.0): NPCs no longer stand in the open. They utilize "Fire & Move" tactics, seek dynamic cover, and attempt to flank the player and zombies.
Military Radio Chatter (New in v2.0): Enhanced immersion with authentic radio communication. Military units report enemy contact and status updates during combat.
Three-Way Faction Wars: A fully integrated relationship system between Military (Tactical/Neutral), Raiders (Aggressive/Hostile), and Survivors (Defensive/Varying).
Zombie Priority Protocol: Every faction is hard-coded to prioritize the undead. They will actively hunt and eliminate any "InfectionX" zombies on sight.
Global Map Distribution: NPCs populate the entire map—from the dark alleys of Los Santos to the desolate peaks of Mount Chiliad.
Motorized Patrols: Military squads and Raider gangs utilize armored vehicles and technicals to patrol the wasteland.

Added: Technical & Biker Support – Raiders now spawn with armed Technicals and Biker Gangs (Bagger, ZombieB) for high-mobility warfare.
Added: Anti-Stall Logic – New monitoring system detects stuck vehicles and forces AI to reroute, preventing empty/static cars on roads.
Improved: Advanced Combat AI – NPCs upgraded to "Professional" skill level with defensive movement and tactical flanking maneuvers.

@VelyXCore Sounds like something I played before but was called Simple Warefare and it had a dogfight mode in the air.
@Starfox1993 I remember Simple Warfare! While it was great for big battles, The Remnants is specifically built for the apocalypse. Our AI is hard-coded to hunt zombies and features unique faction behaviors (Military, Raiders, Survivors) that react differently to the wasteland. It's more about survival than just a sandbox war.
