Install:
Unzip contents into scripts folder
To use:
Keyboard -
Press "L" to lock and save a vehicle after exiting. Press "L" again when near to unlock.
Controller -
Press the interact key when near vehicle.
Configurable settings in INI -- enable crew emblems, drift tires, vehicle stance if needed.
What Dat Mod Do:
Saves vehicles so they stay right where you left them with all modifications intact.
Reloading the game will respawn them right where you left them.
Only damage is not saved due to game mechanics, dirt also saved.
Known issues:
Fixed -- no more updates planned.

@Ravenheart I wouldn't recommend you do that as you'll introduce lag if you have very many cars, but about 10K should cover the map.

Cześć . Dlaczego mogę zapisać tylko jeden pojazd ? W momencie kiedy zamykam pierwszy pojazd . Pójdę do drugiego , zamknę drugi to pierwszy się nie zapisuje . Co robię źle ?

@Tojejo Gdy wysiadasz z pojazdu i go zamykasz, upewnij się, że celujesz w właściwy pojazd. Jeśli są bardzo blisko siebie, możesz wymierzyć niewłaściwy pojazd, co odblokuje drugi pojazd. (Spraw, by zniknął.) Zwróć uwagę na powiadomienia w lewym górnym rogu.

Dziękuję za odpowiedź . Były próby robienie . Auta bardzo daleko siebie . Po zamknięciu pierwszego auta , drugim pojechałem daleko i go zamknąłem . Zanim wróciłem do pierwszego który widniał na mapie , znacznik pojazdu przeskoczył na drugi pojazd a pierwszy zniknął .

@Tojejo Upewnij się, że tablice rejestracyjne mają inne nazwy. Jeśli się zduplikują, usuną ją. Jeśli to nie jest Twój problem, musiałbym zajrzeć do pliku logu debugowania, żeby zobaczyć, co dokładnie się dzieje. Wygląda na to, że problem dotyczy tylko ustawień i jest cię. Łatwe rozwiązanie, gdy zrozumiemy, czym to jest.

@eddie0704 "Problem" or design difference, depending on how you look at it. I wanted a reliable streaming system that also cleaned up duplicates and didn't have orphaned files, so it was a calculated decision in the implementation.

Would it be possible to add an option to respawn persistent vehicles? I’ve had issues where vehicles despawn, and I have to restart the game to make them respawn

@seankelly485 If you make a save while inside a vehicle and then park and lock it, you'll get a duplicate if you reload that same save. Or if you're just a few feet away when you save it. Basically if the game sees you as having a "current vehicle" when you load the game, you'll possibly get a duplicate if you also have a persistent vehicle copy saved somewhere. This is why I went to great trouble making sure we had a robust "clean up" system built into this which never existed in the previous versions to clean up duplicates and avoid the issue with orphaned files in the scripts folder. And/or the other issues with files getting corrupted and not being able to save them at all without disappearing. Hope that explains it a little for you. Basically TL;DR -- Don't save game around unlocked cars or while driving one and then reload the same save. Make a new save after locking your car.

@Rebeldragon1976 The vehicles are spawning everytime i come back to the place i locked it, doesn't matter if I have saved the game or not. If save a car in trevors garage when i come back to retrieve the car a duplicate respawns right on top of it and will spawn multiple duplicate every time I come back. Sorry for the long reponse thanks for your help.
