Description
Introduce more lifelines to the streets of Los Santos with nervous DEALERS! This mod adds a thrilling dynamic to the city by making Criminal ped models flee from police vehicles if the Siren is activated. Watch as these Criminals panic and attempt to escape the long arm of the law or the player and ultimately give up.
If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvements, feel free to provide feedback. This is the initial release, and your support is appreciated!

- Realistic reactions as dealers flee from approaching police vehicles.
- Enhances the police-chase experience in the game.
How to Install
- Ensure you have the latest version of Grand Theft Auto V.
- Install the Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET.
- Copy the "NervousDEALERS.dll", and the XML file into the "scripts" folder within your GTA V directory.
- If the "scripts" folder doesn't exist, create it.
- Launch GTA V and witness the nervous dealers in action!
Usage
- The mod automatically identifies specific ped models and triggers a flee response when they encounter police vehicles with active sirens.
Known BUGS:
- Found a BUG that causes CRASHES (because of a NullReferenceException) will adress ASAP
- Dealer will just stop and stand still after some time of running away.
- Dealer won't get triggered a second time (again)
- Dealer will Hands up forever (question: good/bad)
- Does your game crash when you dirve away and the dealer hands up (question)
Future improvements to add:
- make it zone dependent
- add some randomness
- build a system that police has the chance to actively engage in persuit after (or before) the dealer starts running
Important Notes
- Ensure you have backups of your game files before installing any mods.

@x3mgamer new version is uploading right now. it comes with an xml file. there you can put in your desired models :) enjoj!
@ReNNie It markes the s_m_y_DEALER_01 as dealer, I can have a look at it to do it for all peds with the ambientpedmodelset entry. I will try to improve the script so you can configure and choose models.
@ReNNie for now it is not zone restricted. But that is a nice touch I can add in the future, thank you :)

Unfortunately I am pretty sure it won't work. Do you know how LS Life declares peds as Dealers? If I know this I could figure something out. Else I have do do a lot of logging, debugging and testing. But ultimately I would love to make it work with other mods to make GTA 5 more like a Simulation! :))
@SeBoy Yes, I know exactly how they are declared as a dealer. The trick is, you have to study each ped's movement. Most of the LS Life Dealers will stand still and never move. If you see a ped walking stiff to the Ped that is standing still, he is most likely going to be the dealer making the exchange. And if you kill them, their duffle bag will drop, and drive-bys will come.
@Starfox1993 Ok thank you for this information. I will try LS Life (hope it works for me in generall^^) and log some information about your mationed npc's. Maybe I can find something I can use to trigger my script :)
@SeBoy Check around places that are more populated in the city. Sandy Shores, Blaine County has them too. Pretty much all over.

I believe their variable is one of these:
drugDealer1
aDealer
However this will be a problem. Ot will just make identifying dealers way too easy because literally every dealer will just run because a cop is near by for almost no reason. McCal designed ls life to not be a hand holding experience. If the player can easily identify a dealer it would kind of defeat the purpose also LS Life stored dealers that work for the player in an xml file with coordinates as to where they are working. I could see this breaking them
@SeBoy it would be more realistic if the dealers reacted and run away when police siren/lights are active within a specific range/distance.

@V3ry_H1GH Yes I also thought about that and came to the same problem. Yes the trigger with the sirens is on my list of features I want to add. I have generally found a problem with distances. I will provide a small fix for the distance soon :)
