Every guy remembers his first time as a boy. Walnut steering wheel firmly held in one hand, shifter clenched in the other, foot to the floor down the I-4, breathing in those fumes and taking in the throaty roar vibrating directly underneath your sweaty back side. The only thing taking you back to the 1970s is the 270, because let's face it, you'll never live a moment like it again.
JoBuilt Hauler 270 by Monkeypolice188
A revised variation of the JoBuilt Hauler, heavily resembling various late 60s and early 70s Freightliner and Peterbilt cab-over models. The model comes with a fresh set of wheels, an increased body height, shortened chassis length, a new split-screen style window, entirely redone head lights, a new rear bumper and light set up, a variety of front bumpers and bullbars, new fuel tanks, two grille options, an optional sun deflector, new exhaust stacks, an entirely reskinned interior featuring wooden inserts and door cards, a new steering wheel, classic dials and radio textures, and many other model changes. The truck also hosts 17 liveries and improved colour slots, an entirely new add-on engine tone and heavily revised handling.

2. Navigate to the 'mods' folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don't have it.
3. Navigate to or create the file path "update\x64\dlcpacks" within the mods folder:

5. Navigate to 'dlclist.xml' in update\update.rpf\common\data\. Right click and select "move to mods folder", or "show in mods folder" if you already have.
6. Add "<Item>dlcpacks:\hauler3\</Item>" to the bottom of the list within the dlclist.xml file.
7. If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.

Any plans on adding any more trucks was going through some gta sa files and found like 25 different semi trucks that would look sweet in gta 5 but no idea on how to do model work to convert them

Nice looking truck. However, the replace version does not contain any new sounds to the truck itself.
@ReNNie @Reyser hi can you tell me how to find the correct path via openiv to replace the other peterbilt trucks that came w the game originally? the readme for replace is not quite understanding to me sorry.

Hello i love this truck but sometime it spawn without any bumper in traffic 😢 I tried to tweak by replacing the extra line

To have at least a small bumper but it is shit and it don't work anyway awesome job man i love your vanilla mods 😍😍
A much, much better version of the original Hauler and one of the few good accurate truck mods out there which we desperately need more of.
@Monkeypolice188 It seems this truck has the collision bug which crashes the game upon colliding.
city textures are blinking when the truck of this type pass by or i ride on it ~ something with lods or polygons need to be fixed :) but the rest is superb!

@Monkeypolice188 update the mod when you can, if you crash on others cars or props the game crash, I dont think its a big of a deal to fix.
