Make sure you are in Edit Mode (on the top), and then just drag and drop the visualsettings.dat file there.

Your OIV uninstaller does not work. I am using VisualV and downloade the right file for it but headlights and streetlight and tail lights all looks way too bright. How do I manually uninstall??
@Stretch116 sorry for my late reply. I be been quite busy. Forget it. So you have to delete the visualsettings.dat data. Look on yt or google it, it’s easy to delete...

I downloaded the old version via LSPDFR and i didnt realize that that was the old version. Now my game keeps crashing on startup. Any recommendations? I tried deleting the file through Open IV but its still crashing and i tried using the delete install and nothing is working. My dumbass didnt create a backup of the game and im just lost in a mess of what i need to get rid of?

Guys, don't download it. Sure, the siren lights look great, but this mod makes all the lights in the game shine.
Even the taxi, bus, plane, subway train, and the front grille of the surge model car emit incredible light.
