But in all seriousness, I like the model, but the grenade itself falls through the map 90% of the time.
@Oshikaru-Sensei huh I've never realized. Maybe I missed some collition or smth. But if I do update it mind changing those stars? :/

@Burgerplayer That's GTA, the pin, and even the little string thingy are animated but for some reason R* only made it work in 1st person, so in 3rd person he just throws the whole thing lol
The grenade turned into a grenade fired from a grenade launcher for me.

@NaijaMango I had told Oleg from Zmodeler to fix it. Why? Have you tried to mod a grenade and have that issue happen to you? Because it was an export error in Zmodeler that is supposedly updated with the newest releases
@metroidguy Yeah I'm getting the issue with a sticky bomb model. Except I basically only use 3ds + GIMS for any kinda modeling. So I imagine the same export issue is happenin

@APeX - UAW Did you ever figure out what was causing your glitch where the hand grenade turns into the grenade launcher projectile which detonated on impact when thrown? I'm having the same issue sometimes with mods & it happens with the vanilla hand grenade too. The reason it's such a big puzzle is because sometimes a single add-on vehicle that I install will cause it, but sometimes if the new add-on vehicle which breaks the grenade is combined with a another new add-on vehicle then the grenade will work fine. I've also had it happen with replacement weapon mods that aren't even grenades, such as a PKM replacement for WEAPON_MG, and I've had it happen with replacement peds too.
Another issue I'm having is some of the weapon animations. They work fine until there are a lot of NPC's shooting at me. Such as when I have a 3 - 4 star wanted level. Then the pump shotgun & MG for instance will tilt sideways, or the magazine will jump back & forth as the weapon is fired. Really wish I could figure these two issues out. Especially the one with the hand grenade. Because it happens with mods that have absolutely nothing to do with the WEAPON_GRENADE.
@Donbas Nah, never figured it out, just moved on. Really is a shame though since I experienced those same issues. I've just got the worst luck with modding my GTA, can't figure any of it out.
@APeX - UAW I figured out what was causing the issue for me. Several mods by SkylineGTRFreak have a file in the dlc.rpf called weapons_file.meta which codes the AMMO_GRENADE as "w_lr_40mm" which is the ammo for the grenade launcher. AMMO_GRENADE in the factory GTA 5 files is "w_ex_grenadefrag". Deleting that file resolves the issue.

How do you make a functional grenade in GTA? I know it takes armatures to be able to hold it but is there anything else that can be missing and cause it not to work?
