This mod is pretty much just an update to gta5's outdated combat system.
It will increase first and third person recoil, as well as fire rate, damage has been customized based on real life counterparts, increased velocity for rifles, revamped recoil.
The muzzle flash and smoke Fx have been fixed, the first person weapon placement is now more modern and realistic, I have added a custom animation while running with your rifle to keep it pointed down. Realistic penetration has been added to rifles. and much more Keep in mind that this mod only edits storymode weapons to keep it lightweight and simple, also I don't have enough time to edit the rest of the dlc weapons.
Installation:
Drag and drop F.W.O 3.0 into OpeniV and install into mods folder

would freeze when shot. Edited all of the meta files for most of the DLC weapons (it say's which weapons in the video) made a .OIV for it for easy install

Redid the whole mod from scratch, added all of the dlc weapons to the mod. bullets now go through doors, as well as trees and many other objects. Removed the reticule for ultra realism, (but it is optional.)

Homing launcher and proximity mine fix,NVE combatibility patch. (NOTE) Tracers are custom and will not be removed, added realistic bullet smoke for objects like metal and concrete.
2.5:
Added downward tilt to all the weapons increased firerate for all weapons, redone tactical grip, optimized recoil, removed tracers, and real life magsize for all weapons.
3.0:
Changed the first person weapon position so it is tilted more to the left
Added Enhanced compatibility
Fine tuned the damage
Redid the muzzle fx so they are not as big and resemble real life muzzle flash
Added an uninstaller
Added a fix for Trevors first person animations
Added rde compatibility

Hey for some reason the weapon changes are only working on some guns all of a sudden, i can send a clip on discord if you want but its persisting
field of view increase is a bit too much, can you make a 60 fov version? other than that very good job, love the point aiming feature, since the main mod I was using for that depreciated recently.
edit: its worse than I thought. No way to uninstall now... some pistols are way too high up, and when you aim down sights they sway before centering a little. I had to lower settings because all that smoke when shooting at cops (and cops shooting back) impacted FPS heavily. The MINIGUN is UNUSABLE. Will have to tune it myself, because im in the middle of replaying the game. This is only good because of that Point Aim feature and thats a personal choice to fuck myself to enjoy Ready or Not tactical door entries with weapons and suffer the consequences of this half stolen half done mod.
@ex4mple694201337 I am very sorry that you think that, however I do want to make the weapon system in gta5 as realistic as possible, and I would prefer that you all just dm me on patreon with all your suggestions of things I can fix. I do not appreciate you claiming my mod as stolen as I have put alot of work into it.
@logoso2020 hence the old mod is depreciated, I can't prove that you stole it, or used the same meta file that mod had. However it is suspicious how you have the exact same feature for point aiming as the old mod, while not knowing how to fix simple bugs. How did you manage to do that? Otherwise its a good mod. May I post a version that fixes the FOV values to default?
@ex4mple694201337 I know how to fix these bugs I just don't have the time for it right now, however if you want to fix the bugs and know how to you can reupload it as a fixed version.
@logoso2020 alright I just gotta go through the dlc weapons, i fixed the stock ones. I'll try to also fix the pistol height values.

I know that the realistic weapon sounds mod by xenort replaces weapon.meta files, so try to install his mod on your copy and see what happens.
