Description:
The FN F2000 is a 5.56×45mm NATO bullpup rifle, designed by FN Herstal in Belgium. The F2000 made its debut in March 2001 at the IDEX defence exhibition held in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. As of early 2019, the F2000 is removed from the FN international and US websites.
Replaces the Advanced Rifle.
Features:

• Two Variants available, F2000 & F2000 Tactical TR
• Functional Optical Sight (Not adjusted for first person)
Please note:
There are clipping issues around the grip of the gun, as I had to move the gun forward so the reload animations would look good. It's only really noticeable from the left side.

Installation:
Extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024x1024 or 1024x512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren't, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.

By chance, do you know what the hard limit for weapons textures is? Like how many MBs can a weapon can be before GTA's engine takes a shite. Kinda like if a car model is 25 MBs or more, it will cause texture loss in game. Just been curious because I looked everywhere and I still don't know what's a comfortable size for weapon models and textures. My game is bombarded with gun and car mods. lol
@kidderz11 I believe it's around 10 megabytes however I think it has more to do with the resolution and texture format. For example if you have many textures that are a low resolution like 512 x 512 in the the DXT5 format and it totals to a large file size, say 30 MB, there shouldn't be an issue. I think it's more about the resolution and format. If you have 3 textures in A8R8G8B8 the compression will be low but they tend to be more unstable. In my experience A8R8G8B8 in 2048 is a little unstable but 1024 x 1024 is perfectly stable. Also A8R8G8B8 in 4096 x 4096 will straight up crash your game. That's why every 4K mod uses something with more compression like DXT5 or DXT1.

@Equinox407 Can you please include a version that has the weapon more backwards so the finger is correctly on the trigger and has less clipping? I don't mind if the reload doesn't look that good. You can see on this old F2000 mod that the right hand position is perfectly on the trigger.

@Equinox407 Okay that actually makes a lot of sense on why this one MG249 that replaces the combat mg acts up until I lowered the textures to 1024 in gimp, I just now checked for the A8R8G8B8 in the ytd and to my surprise, that model was using that format. I still even notice from time to time that even 1024 might be too high for that certain model using all those textures and it is above 10 MB for that ytd alone even after lowering the textures. Thanks big time for getting back to me, I definitely learned something new and I appreciate your help!

There is already a mod for that however the helmet model is badly made. https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/helmet-noose-old-gen-style
If you compare it to the default helmet that have the googles on top of the helmet (the same shape as the old-gen helmet), the model shape is not the same. You can compare them in a model viewer.

If the the ped meta file is edited to have both helmets spawn the different helmet shapes is irritating.
