An odd affection of the Japanese towards Italian inventions continues as this iconic 1980s wedge supercar is employed as an interceptor for lavish police forces of Tokyo. While not exactly a perfect fit for claustrophobic streets of the Rising Sun Land, the TMPD Torero still works as a reminder that Japan's isolationism policy from 19th century didn't translate as well in terms of quick cop cars a hundred years later. Yet another example of a foreign concept that gets a second life appreciated by current youth - ironically or not. Just like eurobeat music.
