About:-
This mod changes vehicle physics and handling to make it more realistic and challenging. The handling is changed with the help of GTA 4 handling file. About 200 vehicles handling is changed. Vehicles weight, center of mass, speed, brake, traction, suspension, damage, etc. value is changed to make handling similar to GTA 4.
Suggestions and Feedbacks are appreciated.
Installation:-
(Make sure you make a back up of "update" file before installing this mod. In any case it does not work replace the update file.)
1. Download and Install open iv from here: https://openiv.com/
2. Extract this mod file.
3. Start open iv and open with the GTA 5 directory.
4. Open tools menu and then click on ASI Manager.
5. Install ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI.
6. Toggle edit mode on by pressing F6 key or clicking on Edit mode on top of the
window.
7. Open update folder.
8. Open update.rpf folder.
9. Click 'Show in "mods" folder' option
10. Open "Common" Folder.
11. Open "data" folder.
12. Find "handling.meta" file and right click on it and select replace option and
replace with extracted handling.meta file.
13. Close open IV and Start the game.

It would be better if you made this as an optional feature by including a second handling.meta file with that parameter set to zero and letting users choose what type of handling to use... Burnout is cool :/
@DJ-LEXX Hey, I will add that option in next version !! I also like burnouts but I did that because some cars would just not drive forward after stopping in incline roads (like near michael's house). It's nice knowing you're still interested in this mod !!
When you get to planes and helicopters i recommend removing the turbulence.

whats the difference between Burnout and non burnout version?
@GH00ST_SL4YER In burnout version the cars do a burnout or spinning of the wheels when pressing w(gas) while the car is stationary or in low speed, which slows down the car for a bit. mainly burnouts are visible in sports cars.
In non-burnout option you don't see burnouts when pressing gas at low speed or when at stationary position in the cars, which makes the gameplay feel smooth.

For me, Phantom and other "rig truck" can't move even in slightest uphill on road if trailer with heavy cargo (logs for example) is attached to it. I must add 2x horse power in menyoo to them to even make them move.
But then I remember installing some "driving on dirt mod" and this might be my "error".

@loginos It doesn't work for me either if I stop the Phantom truck (with logs) in the middle of a uphill road and try to move the truck forward but, if I have some momentum from the start it climbs the uphill road. I think it depends on the weight of the cargo.
@loginos Wrong person. I can see how you've mistyped the other persons name. Also, there's no real hill that steep in GTA V that a truck can't pull cargo up to my knowledge. I know of Mount Chiliad being a steep mountain that is nearly impossible to take cargo up but no other mountains are that bad.

Oops sorry.
It.s not mount chilliad only but with heavy load even in a slightest climb in a city I often must drive in 1st gear ( I use ikt manual transmission mod).

Will you be making updates to "rig" trucks so they could pull heavy load uphill? In reality trucks are able to pull loads uphill but with crawling speed.
I have temporary "fix" for trucks with menyoo by boosting HP but when empty they become arcade crappy and I really love this mod's vehicle behaviour.
@loginos Ah, even then none of the trucks struggle hauling cargo up a hill. I use completely vanilla handling.
@loginos Can you tell me which trailers values you need changed because I think its the trailers values that needs to be changed not the truck. I have already fixed the log trailer. I will upload after I have completed fixing all the trailers which are not moving in uphill road.

Yea it seems only log type trailer was "screwed".
I've tested few trailers (with menyoo spawn and hauling mod) and only when that particular type of flatbed trailer (and no matter what cargo was on, even empty) was attached I had trouble, other flatbeds and everything else are ok.
amazing! I always loved the handling in GTAlV. Do you know If i were to add this to FiveM would it work? :)
@JoseAnguiano Thanks a lot! Yeah I also loved the handling in GTAIV. I have not tried FiveM yet. So, I dont know if this will work with FiveM.
@Ethicat So i was able to turn it into gta 5 but, it kind of sucks turning lol. other than that,, its good. just need to edit the turning part :)
AI racers are REALLY bad with this handling!!
