Another winter, another middling update to GTAO. With some betterment being made to the Jester RR Widebody, I figured I'd throw in my edit to the Coquette D5. This changes the plastic roof to a primary colored roof. In addition, this mod also makes the roof a togglable extra, meaning there's now a topless variant of the Coquette D5. LODs are also altered as well.
Anyway, put it here: mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patch2025_01\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
The usual applies, give credit if using, if your game crashes it's not my fault, have fun.

Update - September 11, 2025
Edited roof to use the interior color rather than share the primary. You'll need a trainer to manually choose your desired roof color. I've also removed liveries from the roof as I still have no knowledge or interest in mapping. In doing so, that also fixes the dirt and burn maps. Fancy that. The roof is still a togglable extra.
Update - Crack of Dawn, September 18, 2025
Redone the mod using the Money Fronts updated model which I believe fixed the bulletproof nature of the car. I don't remember. Added carbon roof as toggleable extra.

Fixed the texture issue the came with the carbon roof. The texture error that nobody mentioned so it probably didn't exist at all. This mod was perfect from the get go 👍🏿
Anyway, put it here: mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patch2025_01\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

Most features from mine are there, but edited by someone with a better grasp of model modification than I. Thank you.
Love this simple fix. Although I think the painted roof still retains a bit of the cloth texture from the regular roof. Most visible on darker metallic paints. The paint doesn't seem as smooth as the rest of the car. Could just be on my end though.

I've just seen the roof doesn't have the correct properties when the vehicle is burned or correct dirt mapping. I'm currently working to get that fixed. Mind you my specialty is .meta editing,(if even that) so it may take a few. Thank you

Hey yall. I haven't had the time to dedicate a minute to learn how to properly map textures in ZModeler. It doesn't look like I'll everget the time to put into this or any other game like I used to. And since creators can apparently creators can leave their mods in broken, buggy unfinished states with no problem, I'm taking advantage of that benefit. Sorry guys, have a good one
Hey again everyone. I came back to this to alter the roof for personal use and that somehow fixed the mapping bugs. Yippee. I may return again to this to edit the roof coloring to only having the panel rather than the panel and pillars use the dashboard color. We'll see. Otherwise, I do appreciate all who commented, enjoyed or didn't enjoy this and all other of my mods. Please share any feedback you may have.
There seems to be a bug with the model, as the mods for the grill seem to be spawning below the right door instead of on the Coquette D5 itself.

@N.MAN i copied the files to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mp2024_02\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\mp2024_02.rpf and my D5 still has a black roof
@Wolfhound-W You did exactly as I said. I've yet to update the path as R* released an update with Money Front that fixed the model. The new path is: mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patch2025_01\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

@elad4002 The grille issue isn't model related, but tied to the carcols.meta. R* originally had the grille assigned to the chassis rather than the front bumper. A corrected carcols.meta is included in the Money Fronts update here: mods\update\update.rpf\dlc_patch\mp2024_02\common\data
Or if you're like me, you can manually make the corrections by replacing the "chassis" with "bumper_f" as seen in the new screenshots.
