You could do the mod robocop 1989?
Since the cause of the crashes seems to be update.rpf, I copied the latest update.rpf from main folder into mods folder and then started adding all my mods one by one and.... BOOM. My game works again and the modifications seem to be working fine so far.
Damn, for when the next update, do not end my video with mods
