@XzMpT you will find the meta located in \Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 Open it with any text editor, and next find the line listed under the bati <audioNameHash /> now replace it with
<audioNameHash>ADDER</audioNameHash>
Now if you wanted to use a different sound instead of the Adder, you will search for the car name you want inside the meta, find the handling name line so for example <handlingId>SULTAN</handlingId> now just copy over that vehicles all capital name in place of ADDER and it can be applied to any vehicle you wish. Hopefully that helps!
@sheetmetalninja nope, I'm running a standard hitachi 7200rpm disk
@Alphanegro unfortunately every bike mod crashes my game as well. The problem is that it seems these bike mods only like to run correctly for some people but not others, the zmod author is investigating these issues. From what I can tell, the bikes work perfectly running as the only mods or a very lightly modded game but once you start changing a lot the bikes tend to throw the game memory error
@Seraph you were close, but it's actually in the update which is why it wasn't registering
\Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
I seem to be getting the lovely "gta v game memory error please reboot" when spawning this bike :/ whats odd is the only other mod which caused this error just from simply spawning or getting onto was another motorcycle replacement, the harley fatboy mod on here too
Tried again and I still can not get the burnt tip exhausts to show up unfortunately :/ I also have replaced in both patchday1ng and x64i with your mods file but still nothing, all the other parts are working correctly from what I can tell
@TheCaptain19WingNut yep vehicles .meta the line you replace <audioNameHash /> with
<audioNameHash>ADDER</audioNameHash>
replaced with the name in all capitals for whichever car you want to use the sound from this name is the same as what is listed under <handlingId>ADDER</handlingId> etc. hope that wasn't too confusing
Sick my friend! Hoping to see more sport bikes in game soon!
For the sound, I personally changed the sound in my .meta to the adder which sounds pretty close to the r1's, the in game bike sounds are so bad that I've changed most of them to use car sounds, which are closer to their real life counterparts
Very cool, definitely an awesome tribute! Not really sure why anyone gives something a low rating if they have no intentions of even attempting to download or use it.
