Hey guys: As I have 0 interest in continuing this mod and can't provide support for issues for it, I'll be leaving it up but won't be able to answer questions as to what to do about the crashing, because i have no idea. This was something that I accidentally discovered while messing around. Sorry about this issues.

@skrillex4986 I'm not worried about downloads. If you got it from steam just delete the update.rpf in the update folder and verify your files on Steam.

Got it working, and HOLY crap, it's everything I could have ever wanted! I recorded a video of me playing it in the Oculus Rift, it's being uploaded right now! Thanks so much!

@skrillex4986 Did you make a backup of the original version of the file you were to replace?

@SkateboardCop Ah sorry. I think you need to place the file in update.rpf, same place. Could you try that for me and let me know if it works?

Doesn't seem to work for me.

@Hayuru I'm pretty sure it just makes it so that you don't have to run OpenIV everytime you use the mod. I could be wrong though, I literally just started using this like an hour ago.
