Remember the news helicopters that spawned along with the police helicopters in GTA San Andreas? With this version, you can get access to the live camera feed from the news chopper.
Installation:
Copy NewsHeli.dll and NewsHeli.ini to your /scripts directory
Requirements:
ScriptHookV
ScriptHookVDotNet 3
.NET Runtime 4.8
recommended: a helicopter with a news station livery, like this one, shown in the screenshot
Usage:
The news heli will spawn automatically when you have 3 or more stars wanted level.
Supports keyboard & gamepad. See readme for usage.
Planned features:
- ability to apply filters to camera feed
- gracefully transition from gameplay cam to camera feed
- community suggestions!

The script seem incompatible with the new SHV pls fix this issue. Thanks
it worked like twice but then it stopped working and came up with failed to spawn frogger
Having trouble with getting the model to spawn with the script as no matter what I did, it always fails to spawn the model of the news heli even though I put in the correct model name in the ini file.
The script works the heli spawns but the news livers don't it spawns a basic fogger with no livery.
@imtoxic I think the livery no longer works
its hilarious watching the pilots fly...
@Carman670 same here have you found a fix?
@oofkal Turns out the issue with the model failing to spawn is dependant on the games framerate. If the framerate is quite low, then it has a higher chance of the error to occur. A way to get the news helicopter to spawn is to go into the ScriptHookVDotNet console and typing Reload().
