Can't beat the system, so how about making it worthwhile?
Rewards you with money for each pedestrian you kill. Also features a bonus system that increases the amount of money you receive depending on the situation. Multikill rewards and more! Highly configurable.
RECENT CHANGES v0.8:
- new sound: classic "wasted" audio is played upon death
- change: "headhunter" is now rewarded at 15, but the timelimit has been removed. happy hunting!
- change: "distance" is no longer rewarded while being inside a vehicle. (caused insane scores earlier if you drove very fast)
- core: added sound pre-caching to prevent ocassional mini-lags upon first playback.
- bugfix: all military should now be tracked properly.
- premeditation: seconds now attributed to the target record instead of being calculated in realtime. (helps securing reward)
- premeditation: now only counts the seconds from intention to inital attack (helps securing reward)
- included 50% louder versions of all audio files. You can activate them via config "use_normal_sounds" (Default is 0 = OFF)
- distance rewards: for sniper it must be >100 to give a bonus. everything else will reward >50
- change: bonus per distance down to 12.5% from base value (was 50%)
- change: bonus per no-escape down to 25% from base value (was 50%)
About:
My first mod in a long long time. I found it unfair and boring that you get hunted to death by the police for very little reward, just because you "accidentally" hit or shot a random dude who gave you the finger for your artistic driving.
I tried to gather as much details about each kill as possible and broke it down into different values. For example, if the victim was on fire or was trying to flee. These details and the base value for each type of pedestrian translates directly into money.
Once you die everything is reset.
See this as a sort of minigame while being chased. Evade death as long as possible and try to beat your last highscore.
Requirements:
- ScriptHookV.NET, Version 1.0 or greater (https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases)
Rewards you with money for each pedestrian you kill. Also features a bonus system that increases the amount of money you receive depending on the situation. Multikill rewards and more! Highly configurable.

@t0shki After reading all of the comments, it is still not clear how to get this working. I have latest scripthook.net and scripthook in main directory and I put all of your files (including the text files) into the scripts folder. Also don't the files need to be in the addins folder within the scripts folder? Also there is a 'normal' folder in the audio folder. Is that needed? Thanks for the mod. and thanks to any answers
A++++++++ mod man. Some suggestions. The +10 +20 etc score that pops up on the people you kill pans up and abruptly disappears, it should fade out to give it that nice touch. Also if it's possible, allow for a higher killstreak cap with the option to add on more sound clips. Lastly, idk what your vision / direction is with the mod, but adding a config toggle-able option for a Call of Duty hitmarker + hitmarker sound everytime you shoot, hit, kill someone would be great! (even as a separate mod.)
@t0shki
Really love the mod, i would like to know if anyone else has the problem that the highscores are not updated automatically ?
@TheRealMofu Yeah man, I have the same problem adding that after the first "wasted" the mod disappears D: and reappears only by loading the game, but without the previous score ...Someone tell me why?
Can you help me? This does not work for me, I installed both Script Hook V and Script Hook V Dot Net, and lastly your mod. When I start Grand Theft Auto, it tells me that msvcr100.dll is missing, but I have c++ 2010 whatever package, and I don't get that error if I remove the mood and Script Hook. Even though the error, the game starts but requires me to "[go out of] offline mode". If I remove all that stuff, it works perfectly. Any Idea why?
I also tried installing an older Version of Script Hook, and instead it warned me about "vcruntime140.dll" together with the same "offline mode" error.
It's probably not your fault but the dumb Script Hooks. I tried 4 different versions and i still didn't work though.
How to install sound?
For some reason, this mod removes me from 5 to 10 FPS during the game, do not wear it if you do not want to have fps drops !! Better not to use
@StilisH Well don't rate then, child.
Hey, sweet mod!
Just a little bug I found with your config file. Trying to change the values in it doesn't do anything, apart from the cash rewards. I wanted to switch out the reset key to something else, as the multiply key is already used somewhere else. However, I tried to change out the value and it did not work.
Could you perhaps make it a separate .ini file instead for ease?
Okay, apparently you created an .ini file in the game folder. Which does work.
Unfortunately, I am using a Mod Manager so it was not the easiest to find out. Anyway, it works without issues now.
To anyone using this mod with a mod manager, just launch story mode and check your install folder for the config file. Then just copy it to your mod manager location to edit it.
Unfortunatly yes, this introduces some kind of stuttering and fps drop :/ tested several times without any additional mod on latest vanilla version with latest sh.NET.. any way to make it work smooth again? would be very nice, is one of my fav mods anyway :)
sometimes the mod stop working and doesn't count kills and not showing any points for hits ... and yes I tried to restart it/disable and able it but nothing helped only load game again via menu
is there any way to reset the HIGH SCORE? not just the current streak but the all time high score.
Any Possible way to make it so instead of civs its actually law enforcement you get rewarded for?
There's no config file in the archive.
Does this mod still work
Hello t0shki, i make sound replacer for your mod, i cant message you i hope you read it from here
How can i disable the extra money reward for distance kill?
